Dr. Nevada Winrow has been named Interim Director of Assessment to the Division of Academic Affairs and will head a school-wide assessment team that will play a major role in the development and submission of our Fifth-Year Report to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in 2013.
The assessment team will also be charged with ensuring that every major phase of the University is assessed and data is used for improvements.
Dr. Winrow is a 1993 graduate of Lincoln University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. She holds master’s and doctorate degrees from Howard University in Washington, D.C.. Most importantly, she has experience with academic accreditation processes with Middle States and the Accreditation Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. She also has more than eight years of experience with institutional effectiveness measures and has taught at the college level for more than ten years, eight of which was spent formulating and executing organizational policies, curriculum assessment design and data collection tools.
